Care for your Fire Sprinklers

-Do you best to get a fire inspection expert to go through your installations at least every 3 months

-It is wrong to hang anything from your sprinkler because any pressure on the sprinkler head can damage it and inserting anything into the device could break or interfere with the mechanisms

-Painting your sprinkler is wrong. Painting your sprinkler to match the ceiling will lead to the dried paint blocking your sprinkler; leaving building and people vulnerable.

-Keep your temperature steady to avoid freezing

 Standard response sprinkler; points downwards, to pre-wet materials around the fire that has the ability to burn thereby slowing the fire

Quick response fire sprinklers; discharges water higher on the walls to keep the fire from climbing and maintain lower ceiling temperatures. Cooler ceilings reduce the likelihood of flashover and slow a fire’s rise within a building which increases the chances of human survival.
