Q1 What is nitrogen regulator?

The primary nitrogen gas regulator is intended to reduce the high pressure in the gas cylinder to a lower, useable pressure for dispensing. This regulator can be utilized in a single pressure, one-keg application or to service many secondary regulators downstream. 

Q2 Can you use any regulator for nitrogen?

Nitrogen regulators normally do not fit on other gas tanks, therefore nitrogen tanks can only be used securely with nitrogen regulators.

Q3 What is the difference between a CO2 regulator and a nitrogen regulator?

Nitrogen and CO2 regulators cannot be used interchangeably because nitrogen regulators are built to handle higher pressures and contain features unique to nitrogen systems, such as a male thread with conical fittings. If you intend to deliver beer with nitrogen, you cannot utilize a CO2 regulator.
