It is based on a high viscosity index mineral oil and a lithium complex soap thickener. It contains selected additives to provide superior high temperature oxidation stability, extreme pressure and anti-wear properties, and corrosion resistance.

The Shell Gadus S3 V460 2 is suitable for a wide range of industrial and mining equipment, such as crushers, conveyors, kilns, ball mills, and presses. It can withstand high temperatures, heavy loads, shock loads, and water contamination. It also has a low oil separation rate and a high dropping point, which ensures long service life and reduced maintenance costs.
